Japan Pilgrimage II Day 13 - Guest Blogged by 浪迹天涯小狗

Image Intensive..

DUN STOP ME!! Lemme climb Tokyo Tower!!!

Exploration day, managed to squeeze a visit to the famed Tokyo Tower in the mornings.

House of Ikebukuro, where we stayed for most of our trip, and the previous trip as well.

Photographing the neighbour's fence again, while RR wears her boots.

An orange/perssimon/grapefruit tree that the neighbour has.

Headed over to our favorite Vie De France for breakfast.

Apple Cream Cheese pan (#1 bestseller) and Royal Milk Tea.
OMG Mistress is drooling just from looking at the photo~
Mistress: So soooffftttt Soooo niceeee~~~

Morning streets

Was a bit lost when we alighted at the subway station and were literally walking in some general direction since we couldn't locate the tallest structure in Japan at our heights with all the buildings around..

Had to do some tough upslope climbing before we reach Foot Town, the 4 storey building located at the foot of Tokyo Tower, that boasts a couple of restaurants, galleries and one whole ground floor full of tourist traps.

Tokyo Tower

Spotted these very cute tees at the tourist traps which Mistress would have grabbed it if not for its price.
A hefty SGD50+ for a normal tee sold at tourist traps? nahh..

Visited the amusement park on the rooftop while we were exploring.
Anpanmans!

Kiddo-sized Thomas the Train

Restricted view from its rooftop and we didn't go all the way to the observatory.

A random exhibition on one of the floors. Din explore more.

Tokyo Tower miniature.

One half of the brothers mascot of Tokyo Tower, Noppon.

Looking back..

Ventured into Odaiba next hoping that we can get some loot back from the outlets there.

The rail system in Odaiba Bay

Still the rare few trees that had changed colors.

These are very very expensive housing, even thou they look like normal flats.
Was trying to make our way to Aquacity area for a view of Rainbow Bridge and somehow ventured into those housing estates, walking by some creepy corridors as well.

Fuji TV Headquarters

Rainbow Bridge

Shrine on the roof

Rainbow Bridge retains its character in the daytime.

The architecturally interesting Fuji TV Headquarters

Japan's Statue of Liberty with Rainbow Bridge

Took loads of pics, did a bit of shopping (Read: Daiso) in Aqua City, where Mistress actually bumped into her poly classmate (what a coincidence!), before heading off to the next stop.

Should be a carpark, taken from the rails.

Tokyo Big Sight, where anime/manga conventions are held.

Daikanransha

Palette Town

Loads of unique structures around Odaiba.

Venus Fort, which houses plenty of fashion labels' factory outlets.

Simply reminds me of Venetian Macau

The animals were hungry after a long shopping trip and were craving for some kaiten sushi, so they walked a few rounds in search of the delusive sushi bar, which technically should be everywhere in Japan!

Managed to find one but they had a signboard outside their door, and it doesnt seem to be open for business.

Not able to contain the hunger anymore, they settled for authentic Japan foodcourt grub.

Japan's "foodcourt"

Fusion food that Mistress bought cos its some limited seasonal menu.
Cant decide if it wants to be a pasta or a ramen!

RR's udon + rice big big full full set.

One of the center pieces at Venus Fort.

Stumbled into Toyota's automobile museum as we were exploring.

Those are some very very privileged dogs!!

We went back to the sushi bar. Still closed! It was only then Mistress went over to take a look at the boards..

Closed for the day due to filming... Σ(゚□゚(゚□゚*)

Popped MegaWeb out of boredom and also bcos it was rather cold out.

Setting sun

Digitally enhanced..

After the photos, we went back inside to waste more time.
Stole a shot at this huge teddy bear, think the store assistant was stopping someone else from taking photos of it.

Daikanransha at night.
Pity that some of the lights are out thou.

All the time wasting was for nightfall and lights to be on!
Headed back to Aqua City~

Statue of Liberty & Rainbow Bridge!

Finally the tripod that Mistress was lugging around gets utilised. But the wooden plank ground shook with every elephant that passes by,  hence she took a while trying to get a decent shot.

Went over to a more deserted area where RR was resting her legs to get more shots.

Mission [View Rainbow Bridge at Night]COMPLETE!

Time to embark on our long journey back.

Some random xmas decorations near Grand Pacific La Daiba.

Stopped at 7-11 near the hostel and FINALLY found yakisoba pan!

Tastes exactly what u'll expect from yakisoba and pan. Quite an interesting combi actually.

They have Oden too!!

?? Fish Cake??

Konyakku which Mistress initially thot was some rice noodles.

Mistress's fav. Radish~ Yum Yum!
